Scholarships

Trinity Scholarships for Excellence

Trinity (TX) Chapter is committed to contributing to the post-secondary education of Dallas area youth.  Over the years, more than $100,000 has been distributed to students attending four-year colleges and universities and those attending Dallas County Community Colleges.

In 2017, seven students each received $1000 scholarships:

Olusula Babatunde

  • 2017 graduate of Garland High School
  • Plans to attend Texas A&M University

Chassadi Cox

  • 2017 graduate of David W Carter High School
  • Plans to attend Prairie View A&M University

Aryn Davis

  • 2017 graduate of the School of Science and Engineering at Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Center
  • Plans to attend Columbia University

Ariana Dewberry

  • 2017 graduate of Lancaster High School
  • Plans to attend Sam Houston State University

Xavion Martin

  • 2017 graduate of David W Carter High School
  • Plans to attend Wiley College

Jaylin Roach

  • 2017 graduate of Kathlyn Gilliam Collegiate Academy
  • Plans to attend Lamar University

Kierra Thompson

  • 2017 graduate of A Maceo Smith New Tech High School
  • Plans to attend University of Texas-Arlington

Sustaining Scholarships

In 2017, Trinity (TX) Chapter began distributing sustaining scholarships to current college students to help them continue their education.

Tramondranique Hawkins

  • Inaugural Sustaining Scholarship and 2016 Trinity Scholarships for Excellence recipient
  • Attends Austin College where she is active in Black Expressions, a group dedicated to serving the community and breaking racial barriers and First We Serve which packages meals for low income areas.

Tamejah Rolfe

  • Inaugural Sustaining Scholarship and 2016 Trinity Scholarships for Excellence recipient
  • Attends Howard University where she is active in Emerging Coders, Freshmen Leadership Academy and Co-Director of the Outreach Committee.
